McGoff Group completes £15m multi-purpose Cheshire development

The McGoff group has completed a multi-purpose development near the village of Lymm in Cheshire, offering children’s-care, assisted living and elderly care.

The £15m multi-generational project includes a 66-bed care centre, with 24-hour nursing, respite and dementia care services — as well as 45 retirement apartments provided with domestic support and a natural children’s day nursery.

The development was designed by the McGoff Group and built by McGoff Construction in partnership with related group companies, such as Panacea Building Systems and McGoff Group facilities Services. while all aspects of the development, including care, also being run by the Group.

The centre is designed to bring the eldest and youngest of society together with residents from Minerva Place retirement apartments and Statham Manor Care Centre joining children from Back to the Garden Childcare —the completion of the two-year project has been celebrated with the planting of a red robin tree for all to enjoy for years to come.

Dave McGoff, chairman of McGoff Group projects commented on the opening of the development: “Not only was it the realisation of a concept that we believe so passionately in, it has brought together so many parts of our business model.

“It is incredibly exciting to see it finally come to life and we hope it can set a blueprint for similar schemes in the future.”
